This week, number 50, we have 3 guests with us - Joe (with us for a lot of shows - most recently, episode 48), Brandon (episode 40), and Tom (episode 11) are back with us once more.

George Carlin's death came as a surprise to us; here, in tribute, are his original seven words you can never say on television:
Shit
Piss
Fuck
Cunt
Cocksucker
Motherfucker
Tits

You'll be missed, George.

Following that, we discuss branding missteps and ad jingles.

Tiny Tim? Why not?

Buzzards Bay Pilsner, produced just a hop, skip, and a jump from stately Blunderbuss Manor.

We talk a little bit about having made 50 of these things - that kinda flew.

In closing - thoughts of the week.

As always, talk to us at radioblunderbuss@gmail.com

We open this week with a discussion on tattooing, branding, piercing, and scarification. What does it mean to become art? What's too much; can there be too much?

Same-sex weddings are finally beginning in California, we discuss the implications.

Wolaver's Brown Ale is the drink of choice this week. Yum.

Adam describes a visit to a great restaurant/beer library in Allston, MA - the Sunset Grill and Tap - 112 beers on tap, and hundreds more in bottles - hot damn!

Finally, we talk about newly-proposed Canadian legislation that would have border guards checking laptops and iPods for pirated music. What gives?

The heat (at least around here) has been pretty nasty lately. We talk about the effects of heat and the strange phenomenon of lightning.

This week, we drink again from Abita Springs - Abita's Purple Haze - a wheat beer with a hint of raspberry.

Of course, if you're a tech-news watcher, you'll have taken note of the release of the new iteration of the iPhone - is this a harbinger of more phones superseding computers for many tasks?

And last, but certainly not least, it's worth discussing the Democratic National Committees new refusal (at the behest of Barack Obama) to take lobbyist/PAC money.

Finally, the Democrats have a nominee - let's talk Obama.

Also, some talk of writing, and how we relate to the tools we use to get our creative work done.

Our booze this week is Orlio Common Ale - our thoughts on that fill a health-sized segment. It's organic, which is interesting, and leads naturally to a discussion on eating habits to close the show.

This week, Joe joins us for another round, and we chat about plenty.

First off, we chat about late night talk show hosts. Who's great? Who doesn't cut it? This provides an obvious and natural segue to a chat on podcasts.

We're drinking some Sherwood Forest Sheriff's IPA (the latest in a long line of recent IPAs to be guzzled by us.

Also, we'll touch on the whole steampunk thing and discuss that for a while.
